Swallowing tears, masking anxiety with forced smiles, following life on autopilot as if everything was fine even when inside, everything was screaming.
But there comes a time when the body speaks, the mind gets tired and the soul cries for help.
Talking about mental health is more than necessary, it is urgent. Because there is no success, beauty or productivity that is worth it if we are getting sick inside.
And no, it's not a whim. It's not drama. It's human. Mental health should be treated with the same respect we give to physical health.
It is necessary to normalize therapy, welcome feelings, break taboos, and above all: extend a hand, listen without judging, care with empathy.
